What About the Preamble?

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

For the first time in my life, I am ashamed of who I am.

No, I’m not ashamed of being white, or of being conservative, or of being an American. I’m not even ashamed of being a Southerner. Nothing anyone does or says can take away the dignity of being all of those things.

I am ashamed because I thought that what is going on in America right now could never happen. Oh, I thought we would see some Marxist dust up or what we call liberal shenanigans. I never imagined that I would look out and see American cities being controlled by unruly and immature children and adults who serve at the marching orders of the leftist in our country.

We wonder how we got to this place in history where Americans’ freedoms are being taken away without the use of force. America is surrendering one right at a time.

We’ve surrendered to censorship on Facebook and Twitter, on YouTube, Google and Instagram. Yet we still use those platforms, and we make excuses for using them. When we allow the enemy to “engage” us with their weapons, and we look at them as shiny toys, is it any wonder that as they systematically take from us our freedom of speech, the rights we claim are so important, we simply complain that they are taken away, yet take no action to regain them.

Allowing ourselves to be censored is not the most heinous crime we have committed against ourselves. Our nation, as set forth in the Constitution, elected a man nearly four years ago, and we are, in his last year before election, only now proving what we have known all along. Our country is the victim of a continuing attempted coup, and the only individuals paying the price for that crime are those that our own Department of Justice abused in order to gain leverage for their coup and the American citizens who dared to elect a political outsider, choosing a man who has always placed America and its citizens first. How dare we? This middle class of flyover states deciding that we wanted a president to serve and not to be served, that we desired politicians to work on our behalf, on behalf of America, and not against us.

And now, the coup defined, the culprits named, we are still being punished by the offenders who continue to attempt an overthrow of our government. We find ourselves in a maelstrom whose winds are picking up and destroying our nation.

And what kicked up the flames that sparked this new and deadly insurgence? The first attack was born of a disease mixed with so-called experts whose advice was openly skewed, yet we allowed ourselves to believe that they cared for our nation—for the world. Add in censorship from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, and Instagram who quelled the voice of sanity into the situation, and you have a shutdown that stokes restlessness in even the most law-abiding citizen. After all, most Americans are obedient, a trusting citizenry ripe for the picking. We’re told we can go to select stores, stores chosen for us and not by us. We are told we cannot go to church, but we didn’t demand the choice either. As Christians were jailed for daring to meet in public, select stores were filled to capacity.

Then a man dies on the streets of Minneapolis at the hands of an evil officer. Is it any wonder that the people could be so easily fooled by the leftist into believing that all those who wear blue are evil? If we allowed the top law officers in our land to commit such a crime against us, and no one has even been charged with that crime, is it any wonder that those who attempted the coup would put all their resources behind a movement to separate the American people from the thin blue line that actually helps to secure the freedoms we value?

Compound the senseless death of a man whose color happens to be black at the hands of a evil man who happens to wear blue and whose skin is white, and suddenly, rioting is healthy but going to church is not. The networks, even the “fair and balanced” network, failed to mention that the martyr for this cause is a flawed man with a criminal record. No, he did not deserve to die as he did. His murderer has been arrested. Justice will be served, but for the left, that isn’t what this is about. Justice is a solution. They want no solution. This man with a very long criminal record is given a funeral the likes of which kings, and queens, or American presidents, have not been provided. This plays out for hours on television watched by the obedient citizenry, many who were forced to hold little or no funerals for their loved ones killed by the purposeful carelessness of the leftist leaders in allowing the disease to kill the most vulnerable in our society. A good man dies in St. Louis doing what he had done most of his life, protecting his community, and his death is but a foot note.

And in some states, the churches are still emptied, but the streets are filled with people. We’re told they are protesting, but the liberals in our country never allow a good crisis to go to waste. They stoked the fires against the American people. Was there really any legal protest in any larger city or were they all covers for Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and every miscreant who want the demise of our precious country?

But what have we done about all of this injustice? What have we done to reclaim what the Preamble Note indicates our Constitution provides? Unlike the liberal criminals who call themselves Black Lives Matter and Antifa, who raise their fists in mock innocence yet have the blood of generations of Americans on their hands—generations who fought wars and protected the freedoms their fascist behavior is eliminating, as well as the blood of the most recent victims, who simply wanted to protect what was theirs—we lower our arms and do nothing but spout about the freedoms being taken away from us. And where are we spouting the loss of those freedoms: on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, and Instagram where our posts are being shuttered and the voices of the enemies are allowed to shout.

Our freedoms haven’t been taken away. Not yet anyway. We have time to reclaim them. If we value those freedoms the way we claim we do, why aren’t we lifting our arms? We aren’t we taking back our God-given rights, stated so thoughtfully, prayerfully, and eloquently by men who meant for our country to survive. No, not just survive but to thrive.

We started keeping our arms lowered when the large cities began bail reform, allowing criminals on the street with what they called zero bond, using words to make things sound wonderful. Zero bond no longer means “you can’t get out of jail.” Zero bond is actually Orwellian speech for “riot, loot, pillage, and murder at will.”

From bail reform we have gone to “defunding” our police. When people speak out about it, the censorship machines we continue to “play” with strike down our voices. In striking down the voice of reason, what results is the misconception that an active, viable, supported police force is not good for a community. Instead, the money should be misappropriated and uncounted, given to ideologies that further the leftist agenda and put the citizenry at risk.

We went from defunding the police to allowing Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and any miscreant out there to take over a police department, city buildings and, entire blocks of towns—and all of this after they have burned businesses and killed decent human beings, leaving survivors without a means to support themselves. The men in blue are begging for defense. They are not the enemy, but when we do nothing, good men will fail.

Our arms are still down as monuments are toppled, as they are broken with hammers and smashed to the ground after they are defaced. Our arms are still down as the demand to change the names of military bases is met with challenge. Our arms, which we say belong to one of our most precious rights, go unused as the men and women who would protect us are being told to stand down and to allow the violence and the looting and the murder. These valiant men and women who want to protect us have lost their right to protect us. They are being threatened by the communistic, socialistic, atheistic agenda of the Democrat Party. The arms of the officers are tied. Who will protect an officer’s rights if a criminal dies in an altercation? Right now, it seems our officers cannot even expect citizens or politicians on the right to protect them while they do their jobs.

Protection for every citizen is being taken away by both sides of the political aisle, by these individuals who were elected to serve and not to be served—both on the left and on the right. What has one politician on the right done for our law enforcement as they are being taken down? Nothing. You see, this is an election year. The right will continue to allow the tyrants and dictators to have sway because they believe the American citizens will see what we have lost. Books and movies are being banned or given revisionist history. Homes are being taken away by force. People within cities are being held against their will within the boundaries of those cities. This is happening now. The censorship giants have conditioned us to these losses. Losing our country without lifting our arms is the endgame.

So, what about the Preamble Note to the Constitution: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

We the People were meant to elect individuals who were meant to ensure that our Constitution stands. These elected officials were not meant to be our masters. They were meant to safeguard our Constitution, which in turn, would form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

If they will not do it, We the People are required to take action. Our Constitution requires us to take action. To do anything less is to surrender the greatest government in the world and to surrender it willfully and without a fight.
